Finding Our Centre in a Changing World – October Energy Updates 2026

There is a lot moving around us right now.

Some days feel expansive and light, while other days feel dense, restless and emotionally charged. It can feel as though life is moving through many currents at once. In such times, our work is not to control the movement, but to find our own centre within it.

When consciousness expands, it doesn’t always feel peaceful immediately. Sometimes, what has been sitting underneath the surface comes up first. Old emotions, fears, memories and patterns may become visible. It can feel like everything is becoming louder just before something within us becomes clearer.

Think of the moment before a runner begins.

There is a stillness before the movement. The body gathers itself, the breath changes, attention becomes sharper and the energy comes inward before moving forward.

Perhaps that is what many of us are experiencing.

A gathering.

A compression.

A pause before movement.

So don’t mistake intensity for failure. Sometimes the inner system is simply reorganising itself.

And this is where ordinary life becomes medicine.

A quiet morning. Making your own food. Watering the plants. Folding clothes. Sitting with someone without needing to discuss anything profound. Cooking slowly. Reading a few pages. Taking your dog for a walk. Listening to music. Watching the evening light change.

These things may appear insignificant, but they give the nervous system something very precious — familiarity.

Not every day needs to be extraordinary.

There is tremendous healing in a life that feels safe enough to be ordinary.

—

What are you actually absorbing?

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:

Do I genuinely feel uncertain about what is ahead, or have I been repeatedly consuming information that makes me feel uncertain?

We are exposed to an extraordinary amount of information every day.

Headlines. Opinions. Videos. Predictions. Arguments. Fear. Outrage.

Eventually, it becomes difficult to know whether something is arising from within us or whether we have simply absorbed the emotional atmosphere around us.

If you cannot tell the difference, come back to the body.

Give yourself experiences of steadiness.

Breathe without rushing.

Eat without scrolling.

Walk without listening to someone else’s opinion.

Sit somewhere quiet.

Let the mind experience a few moments where nothing needs to be solved.

Fear feeds on continuous attention.

You don’t have to give it your entire day.

Sometimes stepping away is not ignorance.

It is discernment.

We are constantly being influenced by what we repeatedly give our attention to. So become conscious of what you allow into your inner space.

Ask yourself:

Am I absorbing everything, or am I choosing what deserves a place within me?

There is a difference between being informed and being saturated.

—

We are learning to hold a different kind of awareness

There is a collective emotional weight being processed at this time.

We are witnessing suffering, division, inequality, violence and the many fractures within society more visibly than before. At the same time, we are also seeing people come together, support one another, question old structures and create new forms of community.

Both realities can exist together.

We don’t have to deny what is difficult in order to remain hopeful.

Sometimes clarity comes when we reduce the amount of noise we consume. When we stop constantly looking outward, we begin noticing what is happening inside.

And from that place, we can respond rather than react.

If something is disturbing you deeply, don’t carry it silently.

Find someone with whom you can speak without having to explain your entire existence.

Being witnessed by someone who understands your inner language can itself be regulating.

—

You are not beginning again

A new chapter doesn’t mean the previous one never happened.

You are not erasing yourself.

You are carrying forward everything that has shaped you — the relationships, mistakes, lessons, grief, love, memories and wisdom.

But something about you is changing.

And when identity changes, there can be a strange period where the old version of you no longer fits, while the new version hasn’t fully taken form.

That in-between can feel confusing.

Let it.

You don’t always need immediate answers.

Sometimes the soul needs time to recognise itself in a new form.

Looking backwards can be part of moving forwards.

Nostalgia, reflection and even grief can become bridges between who you were and who you are becoming.

A new beginning doesn’t have to feel comfortable.

It simply has to be honest.

—

Allow yourself to be different. Look into your moral compass

Give yourself the permission to be different.

As people become more inwardly aware, many begin noticing changes in what feels right for them.

The people they want around them.

The conversations they can participate in.

The food their body prefers.

The places they feel drawn towards.

The way they communicate.

The kind of work they want to create.

The kind of relationships they want to nurture.

You may suddenly connect deeply with someone you barely know.

Or you may realise that a relationship you once needed no longer feels aligned.

Neither makes you wrong.

We are moving through the same world, but we are not experiencing it in identical ways.

Your path does not have to look like someone else’s simply because you are walking through the same time.

There may be moments of extraordinary recognition — a conversation, a meeting, a moment in nature — where you suddenly glimpse a version of yourself that feels more authentic.

Pay attention to those moments.

They can become little windows into possibility.

—

Learn to recognise your own frequency

Knowing yourself is not a one-time achievement.

It is a daily practice.

Notice what expands you.

Notice what contracts you.

Notice what makes you peaceful.

Notice what leaves you depleted.

Notice what you genuinely want to contribute.

And then keep returning to that awareness.

Other people’s opinions will continue to exist.

Expectations will continue to exist.

Responsibilities will continue to exist.

But somewhere within all of that, there has to remain a space that belongs to you.

Sometimes choosing yourself may disappoint someone.

Sometimes your truth may not be convenient.

That doesn’t mean you have to become harsh or disconnected.

You can honour your commitments while also learning not to abandon yourself.

And if you lose your centre occasionally, that’s okay.

Come back.

Again.

And again.

That is the practice.

Repetition is what turns awareness into embodiment.

—

Creation is ever changing

There is a tremendous creative movement happening around us.

People are building, experimenting, designing, questioning and imagining in ways that would once have seemed impossible.

And creation doesn’t always need to emerge from struggle.

We have been conditioned to believe that great things must come through suffering.

Perhaps that story is changing.

Perhaps something can be created from curiosity.

From joy.

From love.

From spaciousness.

From the simple desire to make something meaningful.

There is an urgency in the collective field right now — a feeling that something wants to emerge.

But we don’t have to rush just because the world is rushing.

We can create from a grounded place.

The deeper the foundation, the more safely the energy can move.

Our relationship with Mother Earth

The Earth also carries the imprint of what humanity does.

We see environmental disruption, natural disasters, displacement, violence and the consequences of how resources are used.

Instead of looking at Mother Earth as something separate from ourselves, perhaps we can remember the relationship.

The food on our plate came from her.

The water we drink comes through her systems.

The air entering our lungs is part of her larger rhythm.

We are not visitors here.

We are participating in a living ecosystem.

So healing can become very simple.

Waste less.

Respect food.

Care for a tree.

Protect an animal.

Use water consciously.

Spend time outdoors.

Grow something.

Put your hands into soil.

These are not merely environmental acts.

They are ways of remembering relationship.

—

Bring the heart and mind closer

For a long time, we have been taught to divide ourselves.

The mind decides.

The heart feels.

But perhaps wholeness comes from allowing the two to communicate.

Let the heart inform the mind.

Let the mind give structure to what the heart knows.

This requires practice.

Curiosity helps.

When you remain curious, the brain continues to create new pathways. Repeated experiences strengthen those pathways. What initially feels unfamiliar can gradually become natural.

This is where awareness becomes action.

Thinking about change is one thing.

Practising it is another.

A different response, repeated often enough, becomes a different way of being.

So if an old reaction appears, pause.

There is a space between the trigger and your response.

Use it.

That small space can change an entire pattern.

—

Plant the seeds anyway

Not everyone will understand what you understand.

Not everyone will carry the same sensitivity.

Not everyone will be ready for the same conversations.

And that is okay.

Imagine a piece of land waiting for a garden.

You cannot force every seed to bloom.

You simply prepare the soil.

You plant.

You nurture.

You water.

You allow sunlight and time to do their work.

Some flowers will appear quickly.

Some much later.

Some seeds will travel further than you ever imagined.

That is how human consciousness can move too.

Live in a way that leaves something nourishing behind you.

Choose kindness when you can.

Choose awareness.

Choose courage without aggression.

Choose compassion without losing discernment.

Choose growth.

Perhaps the spirit of humanity is not something we need to find somewhere outside ourselves.

Perhaps we are each responsible for keeping a small part of it alive.

Plant your seeds.

Tend your little garden.

Let your life become the evidence of what you believe in.

And trust that what is nurtured with awareness can travel much further than we can see.

Love and Light.
